I've finally decided to make a contest for the club!

Rules:

The theme of this contest is Showdowns. You must draw a Showdown between the Heylins and Xiaolins
You may draw your OC's as part of either team, but you must draw another character from the same side with them.
It must be a completely new and made up Showdown. It can't be a Showdown from the show
It can include as many people as you wish
It can be over any Shen-Gong-Wu you like. The Shen-Gong-Wu can be an official one from the show, or your own
Try to keep it clean. I don't want to see anything sexual. Blood is acceptable, just try not to make it too gorey?
The entry must be done completely on your own! Bases will not be allowed
The entry must be new and made just for this contest. I wouldn't like to see that you've submitted the deviation to another contest or anything like that
Because this is a smaller club, you may submit as many entries as you like. If there ends up being a lot of entries, it may be limited to three
You must be a member of ~For-the-love-of-XS to enter!

Judging:

~northstar2x will be doing to judging
Entries will be judged based on originality

Prizes:

Prizes will be done by the prize artists
Prizes may also be collabs between the prize artists (ie. One can draw the lineart, while another colours, or one colours and draws the subject, while another does the background, it's all whatever )
For first place, you will be given one deviation with a full background, full detail, and full shading. You may pick what you want, and you may have as many people as you would like in the picture. If people sign up to be prize artists, you may pick from any of them to draw your picture.
Second place will have a simple background, and details such as shading will be more simple as well. Again, you may pick who you would like to draw the picture, if anyone signs up to be a prize artist
Third place will consist of a simple background, and one or two characters. Shading will not be included. You may pick your prize artist

Prize Artists:

If you would like to be a prize artist, please send a note to the club titled "Contest Prize Artist". Please link three of your best deviations, and give a brief explaination as to what kind of art you specialize in, and what you would be willing to do for the contest.

Deadline:

The deadline will be August 31st. To submit an entry, note the club with the link in the message. Please be sure to title your note "Contest Entry". Entries will be submitted to the club, and placed in the folder "Contest August 2009"
